Course Objectives
In this program, participants will learn how to best support the goals of the organization as they interact with their international counterparts. They will study the impact of their culture on the business communication logic and relationship, gaining a sense of what to expect from their global partners. Participants will learn how to communicate with others from specific cultures from language to behavior aspects and thus improve the efficiency at work dramatically.
Course Outline:
1. How do I communicate effectively with my manager?
Objective: Never let your manager dread your 1:1s.
2. How do I run an effective international meeting?
Objective of the session: Get all the information onto the table as efficiently as possible. And have fun.
3. How do I organize my thoughts to communicate effectively with my peers?
Objective: Make sure people nod their heads passionately whenever you speak up.
4. What will I talk about in business social settings?
Objective of the session: Never again sweat during a business dinner.
5. What if I unknowingly make an etiquette mistake?
Objective: Learn to observe international etiquette so that people will focus on what you're saying instead of what you're doing.
